AUDIT MicroControls offers the most complete line of Calibration Verification and Linearity products designed to assist with CLIA-88 revalidation. Five unique levels of calibration verification material are provided with each product to allow for complete monitoring of that specific test system's reportable range, as defined by the manufacturer.

The calibration verification procedure plays a very important part in ensuring that patient test results reported by all moderately complex testing methods are accurate throughout the reportable range for each test system.

CLIA-88 regulations use the term "calibration verification" to refer to both the verification of a test method's calibration as well as the validation of that system's analytical measurement range, or AMR. Current CLIA-88 requirements state that each laboratory revalidate each test method's AMR at least every six months, as well as following changes in lots of analytically critical reagents or major system components.
